Outfitter Sponsored Montana Elk Licenses Available
Outfitter Sponsored (Guaranteed) elk tags are available for Archery
Season and Rifle Season. Deer tags are also available. Archery
hunters are required to show proof of hunter safety certification or
a previous archery stamp from their state in order to obtain their
archery stamp in Montana.
Moose and Goat Lottery Licenses
Moose and Goat tags are on a draw system and are not guaranteed. We
provide guide services for hunters who have drawn these tags in our
FWP unit 310.
Area Hunted
In section 310, nine miles into the Lee Metcalf Wilderness Area of
the Gallatin National Forest, adjacent to Yellowstone National Park,
MontanaElkHunting.com obtains the only over-night use permit in
the area.
Hunting Package
This guided Montana elk hunt is an 8 day package, 6 day hunt, with
one hunter per guide. All inclusive, meals and accommodations the
nights prior to and after your hunt as well as during the hunt.
Transportation to and from the Bozeman Airport (Gallatin Field
Airport) also included.
One On One Guiding
We offer personal attention to hunters by assigning each their
own guide for the week. Sometimes it makes the difference when there
is no decision to be made on who has the chance at which bull. We
are here to help you hunt elk! This is just another way for MontanaElkHunting.com to personalize your Montana Elk Hunting experience
and to ensure your full satisfaction.
Sleep Tents in Camp
Four canvas wall tents (3 14x17, 1 8x10) are comfortable with
standing room, wood stove, large firm cots and sleeping bags,
pillow, and bed liner. Guides and camp tender sleep in a 14x17;
hunters sleep in the other two 14x17s; cook sleeps in the 8x10.
Cook Tent
Huge 18x23 canvas wall tent houses two cook stoves, 12 person dining
table, and with running cold and hot water. Meals are home cooked,
traditional, hearty and mouth watering upon arrival from a hunt.
Food always tastes better in the wilderness!
