Elk Hunting Rate Schedule:
Most of our hunters are booking 1-2 years in advance. To secure
your spot, it is important to book early. A 50% deposit is required
upon confirmation of reservation dates.
* Outfitter sponsored elk/deer tag applications are due by March 15*
License fees are not

* Moose and goat permits are obtained
through a special drawing. Applications are due May 1st.
Cancellation
Policy
A hunt is considered booked when 50% of the deposit is received. The remaining balance is due at least 30 days prior to the day your hunt begins. Covered Wagon Outfitters has the option to retain a deposit, or credit it to another season, if the hunter fails to send license information into Montana Fish & Game on time (by March 15). The deposit is also forfeited if the hunter cancels prior to March 1; or fails to send the balance due on time (30 days prior to arrival for the hunt). Hunters concerned with cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances are encouraged to obtain Travel Insurance with the MOGA (Montana Outfitter and Guide Association) endorsed company whose information will be provided.
It is important that your application is complete, error free and
received by the Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks on time.
